Pathway Vet Alliance named one of 50 fastest growing companies in Austin

AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Business Journal (ABJ) announced that Pathway Vet Alliance, a leading national veterinary management group serving pets and their parents in the U.S., has been selected for the publication’s annual Fast 50 list.

The ABJ’s Fast 50 awards, now in its 25th year, recognizes local companies with outstanding growth over the past three years.

The 50 winners are divided evenly between companies with an annual revenue of more than $10 million, like Pathway, and companies with less than $10 million in annual revenue.

Qualifications for nominations include:

  • Demonstrating annual net revenue in each of the past three fiscal years
  • Minimum net revenue of more than $500,000 in each fiscal year since 2015
  • Independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership (not a majority-owned subsidiary or division) with headquarters in Travis, Hays, Williamson, Caldwell Bastrop or Burnett County.

“We are honored to be recognized for our hard work and effort to grow Pathway into what it is today,” said Jasen Trautwein, DVM, co-founder at Pathway Vet Alliance. “We have deep roots in Austin and it has played an important role in shaping our company and team-focused culture. Austin has flourished into one of the top cities in the nation and we’re proud to call Austin home.”

Since 2003, Pathway has grown organically and by acquisition from a single veterinary hospital to more than 150 locations across 27 states.

Earlier this year, Pathway was included in Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 5000” list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, solidifying Pathway as one of the most expansive veterinary management companies in the U.S.
