Pathway Vet Alliance adds 79 new practices in 2019 with continued expansion plans for 2020
Pathway Vet Alliance, a leading national veterinary management group, announced Thursday the company exceeded its 2019 growth projections and added 79 new practice locations to its network of veterinary hospitals during the year.
Pathway steadily expanded its number of practices in each quarter, finishing the year with 241 hospitals across 35 states.
Pathway’s industry-leading growth continued amid a busy year in which the company reached a milestone 200 locations, ascended to No. 427 on the 2019 Inc. 5000 ranking and ushered in a pair of new company leaders to its executive team.
“It was an incredible year for Pathway, a result of the culmination of our unique vision for the veterinary industry and the dedicated efforts of our team members,” said Stephen Hadley, DVM, CEO of Pathway Vet Alliance. “Once again, we have set the bar high, and we’re very optimistic about what 2020 has in store.”
According to Pathway leadership, the Austin, Texas headquartered company is poised to further build upon its industry-leading growth in 2020 with continued expansion in new and existing markets.
Veterinary practices joining Pathway’s network retain their original team of veterinary professionals while benefiting from additional support, education opportunities, resources, and supply purchasing discounts. Through Pathway, practice owners are able to offload business management responsibilities onto the company’s dedicated support team, which allows them to focus on providing the best possible care to their patients.
In 2018, Pathway acquired 57 new veterinary practices.
